Work

What we built and run.

Two brands and a websites practice, all run by the same small studio. Each one taught us something we now bring to other businesses.

Live, Joplin, Missouri

RESQVOLT

Mobile EV charging and roadside help.

The service vehicle carries a generator and an EV charger integrated over OCPP that runs while the generator runs during a rescue. When a tow is the wrong answer, a charge gets the car moving.

The platform behind it, all built by us:

  • Booking and quotes, with every line of the quote shown before anyone agrees
  • Payments through Stripe
  • Customer job pages and SMS updates, plus an SMS helper
  • Review requests and referral accounts
  • Technician field tools and a field knowledge base for EVs: 12V access, charge port release, tow mode, OBD
  • A dealership and business portal for scheduled visits and invoices

What it taught usA customer on a roadside needs three short steps, not a dashboard.

RESQVOLT request page on a phone: step one of three, send help now or schedule for later

The same platform, the business side

From a roadside request to a dealership portal.

The request flow is three short steps on a phone. The business side is a portal where a dealership, property or fleet sees each visit, each vehicle's charge target and each invoice line. Both run on the same platform, on our own server.

The vehicle itself is part of the system. A cellular modem router gives it two-way SMS, an OBD reader shows live vehicle readings, and the charger reports over OCPP. The window graphics carry the mark and a QR code to book.

Onboarding the first shop

FieldSmith

Software for field-service trades.

Dispatch, jobs, quotes, calendar, a help layer with tooltips and guides, a training mode, an activity log and backups. Every shop gets its own server and keeps its own data. We are onboarding the first shop now.

  • Dispatch board: unassigned, in progress, late and emergency jobs at a glance
  • Jobs, quotes and a calendar that match how a shop already works
  • Help layer with tooltips and guides inside every screen
  • Training mode for new staff, an activity log, backups
  • One server per shop. Your data stays with you.

What it taught usA help layer inside the app beats a manual nobody opens.

Studio service

Websites for trade shops

Custom sites built from each shop's own facts.

The real services, the real service area, the real photos. Plus a Google Business Profile cleanup, listing cleanup and QR review cards for the counter and the truck. No client site is shown here until that client says we may.

What it taught usA trade shop's site has one job, to make the phone ring, so every page points at the phone number.

How a site project runs

Proof detail

Things you can check.

The service vehicle

A cellular modem router in the vehicle gives it two-way SMS over the mobile network, and we run our own SMS gateway behind it. An OBD reader shows live vehicle readings. The EV charger is integrated over OCPP, built and working: it runs while the generator runs during a rescue and sits idle otherwise. All of it reports into the RESQVOLT platform.

The studio server

We designed and built the machine the studio runs on: an AMD EPYC 9374F with 32 cores, 503 GB of memory, about 9 TB of NVMe storage, and Mellanox and Broadcom networking on a server board. It runs our search engine, our builds and our AI tests. The same habit, at a smaller size, is what we set up for a shop counter.

The model test

We took the questions customers and staff really ask and ran them through two models, one small and one large. The small one gave the same answers at about one sixteenth of the cost. We run that test on your questions before we commit you to a monthly bill.

The deep end

The most demanding engineering in the house is a Solana validator client written in Zig, plus Solana programs and tooling. It is the reason we are comfortable with low-level work, careful memory, and systems that must not stop.
